RR Crawford Provisions was well established and open for over 24 years, becoming the home of the famous Mountain Man Sandwich. It would be easy to re-establish the store and reopen the deli. We carried a variety of items from local artisans, crafts, gifts, handmade musical instruments, camping supplies, various groceries, soft drinks of all kinds, the best seller being ice cold Sarsaparilla. The main level is the rental, the lower level, of the same size, is presently storage, which could be converted to an additional rental or a game room for guests.

The Arkansan is a larger cabin, approximately 800 sq ft, with two bedrooms, one bath. One bedroom is downstairs; the other is a loft overlooking the great room. The living and dining area has a natural stone floor. There is electric heat and a wood stove for those cozy winter nights. It has a full kitchen with an additional, handcrafted eating booth.

Both cabins have electric heat and air, are fully furnished, including new bedding and towels, all kitchen appliances, large and small, all dishes, cookware and cutlery. The cabins also have beautiful animal mounts which are included.

In addition, there is a large building, presently used for storage, which blends with the aesthetics of the other buildings. It could be an additional rental or game room for the cabins. Ample space is available on the property for additional cabins to be built.

Tourist Destination

Newton County and the Buffalo National River have been popular tourist destinations for years and visitors to areas such as Branson, Eureka Springs and the lake areas travel Scenic Highway 7, providing additional traffic. We have a well-established return business with the cabins. This a favorite destination point for motorcyclists and clubs. They prefer the location of the cabins, having no long drives on gravel and having covered parking for the bikes.

With the recent acquisition of the Dogpatch Park by Johnny Morris of Big Cedar Lodge and Bass Pro, tourism will undoubtedly increase substantially. We are the closest retail business to the park, only a few miles south.
