RR Crawford Provisions

R. R. Crawford Provisions was designed and built by Ron R. Crawford in 1989. It is a replica of a building we saw in Colorado, L & J Stearn Provisions, built around the turn of the century (circa 1860-1880). One of the most popular architectural characteristics of these nineteenth century western towns was the “false front”, a rectangular wooden extension of the actual top of the facade of one or more buildings. This design was also very popular west of the Mississippi, the old ghost town along the Buffalo River at Rush is a good example. Our store evokes the memory of yesteryear, yet has all the modern conveniences of today.

We have one of the nicest selections of gifts and crafts in the area; Ken Richardson hand made knives, New Zealand lamb skin rugs, Indian art, Louis Gregorie prints, antiques, embroidered and screened T-shirts. For the outdoorsman, we are well stocked; we have trail maps, hiking sticks, Tim Ernst trail books, a variety of fishing and camping gear and superb selection of Solar ware, Outback and Aussie hats. Our gourmet food section offers jams, jellies, specialty coffees, and teas.

Stop by for a visit even if it’s only to browse through the store. We always welcome our visitors with southern hospitality and try to make their stay in the Ozarks a memorable one. Have a look at our deli menu!
